🎃 Msi Motherboard Audio Not Working
They work on other devices, just not this one. The new motherboard also comes with new jacks, but theu also do not work, all USB plugs, including the new ones, all work though. I'm on a Windows 10 PC. My new motherboard is . msi Tomahawk B450. I've spent countless hours trying different solutions, all have ended in failure.
yeah after googling it seems common audio stopped working after upgrading to windows 11 guess at some point it will be fixed with updates/drivers I was thinking about getting wireless headset just to get away from wire tangling guess its decided now. Sep 17, 2015. #11. I had the same issue. My problem resolved by doing this step: Find Realtek HD Audio Manager at system tray. Right click at the icon, click sound manager. You able to see Connector Setting button at right bottom. Click and choose AC97 Front panel. I'm using ASUS motherboard.
a. Keep the CPU, CPU radiator fan and a single DRAM installed on the motherboard. b. Remove all the USB devices and external cards from the motherboard, including the mouse, keyboard, USB flash disk, SSD, external PCI-E Cards, etc. c. Remove all the cables connected to the Motherboard ,including LAN cables, audio cables.
This could be an issue with the audio ports on the motherboard as well. As sound card might be fine on the system and also drivers are loaded correctly. Are the sound ports are integrated to the motherboard or you have daughterboard connected to the main board. If it is separate port then kindly check if they are properly connected.
That motherboard appears to have an audio driver, 6.0.1.9250 10/19/21. I do not see a Win 11 OS option yet so it should work. Personally, I would not expect a Beta Bios version would be needed to get an audio device to work, but no way to know for sure. Are there anything other utilities that may get installed?

MSI X570 Tomahawk Wifi. AMD Ryzen 3600. Bios version: 7C84v15. OS: Win10 64bit. Realtek HD Universal Driver Version 6.0.9102.1. Case: Pure Base 500. Front panel headphone audio is working fine. Both jacks are detected when plugged in into front panel socket. Headset is working on the back panel as well as on a different computer on the front panel.
